just four things...

{1} Yesterday was a really horrible day-I was sick. Luckily Mom got out some ice cream and coke and stuff and that helped a little bit. At night I took some medicine to help me fall asleep. It was either a really bad cold or a flu or something.

{2} I have a huge, huge, huge surprise for y'all tomorrow. Can you guess what it might be? (Hint, hint: it has something to do with a doll...!)

{3} Most of you already know this. But. I own a point-and-shoot camera. While it does take some very nice pictures, I think...er...I could use another camera. :] So that is why I really want (and am saving for) this camera (Nikon D3000) and this camera (Sony Alpha A230L). On the Sony...Amazon raised the price $7, so it is now $407. *weeps*

{4} I cannot believe I have 56 followers. Yes, I know, that's not a ton of followers, but I am very grateful for each and every one of you all. Thank you so much for your faithful reading and commenting!

{5} I like this picture. Even though it still feels like summer here in South Texas, I am really looking forward to fall!

I hope you all have a very nice Tuesday evening!

I really don't know how to say this, but..

...I just don't feel like blogging anymore.

Alright. Perhaps I don't mean just that. Yes, blogging is fun, but.. lately it has been so frustrating. Everything I write seems to bore everyone who reads my blog, for it's not often I receive comments (yes, on Saturday I did, but that was nearly a week ago), and not only that; blogging now seems a little bit like something I ought to dread. Honestly, I barely look forward to blogging, not to mention designing my blog. I have redesigned it several times and I cannot get the slightest bit of inspiration on what to make it look like.

Blogging just doesn't excite me that much now. Why? I don't know. I do enjoy posting, and I do enjoy designing, but as I said, it frustrates me. I'd rather get few comments on giveaway posts and all those kinds of posts, rather than getting the usual "0" on my usual posts.

I know some of this is my fault, as I have been a rather bad blogger lately. I apologize for letting this blog get a little out of hand. I am highly considering just making a design that I actually like, and posting about three or four times a week, and trying to wipe all the dust off of this blog. :]

I'm sorry if I sounded a bit grumpy in this post, but I really would appreciate your comments stating your thoughts and, if it wouldn't be too much.. Perhaps you could tell me how much you actually look at my blog? You can be honest. ;)

Thank you so much for reading this and.. Everything. :)

Miss Molly McIntire

Six Flags 8-12-11 033-edited
Some time ago, Molly (one of my AG dolls) decided to dress up in modern clothes AND take out her braids. Wow! ;)

While taking pictures, I found that the small sequins on her t-shirt would make excellent bokeh.

Molly loves being in front of the camera and posing just the right way!

Isn't she just adorable?

Oh, and did I mention I liked bokeh?

I love my Molly. :)

Aww!

sorry, this of the photo isn't watermarked
Doesn't her little locket look neat?

Sorry if this post was a bit pointless, but I just felt like posting these photos here. ;)

Which photo was your favorite? Please let me know!

I hope you enjoyed my photo-shoot with Molly. :)

I'm back!

242
Please excuse how random this photo is. I just found it in on one of my older photo albums and decided to add it to this post.  I hope you don't mind. :)

Hello, everybody! Yes, I'm back, if you didn't really notice that by now. I apologize for taking a rather long break if it seemed like I did, but I really did enjoy taking some time off posting! It's very easy to get burned out on blogging after you've been doing it for a while. I still do love designing my blog, though. I never really tire of it. ;) It's so much fun, but I know it can be a little annoying if I do it too much. I still have a lot of tweaking to do right now to my design (I know you're groaning right now just thinking about it), but I promise it will look better later, alright?

Since I've been typing for a solid six hundred and four characters, I guess it's time to move onto different subjects. ;)

{1.} The first thing I have to tell you is that I finished the Harry Potter series! I'm so very excited to have finally finished it-not that it was a burden to read or anything, but those books are rather long (or really long), and they definitely are not my favorite books, although I did enjoy reading them. I think I may read them again, just because I could have read some parts of the books better, but am still not sure yet.

I was wondering if any of you girls have read the Harry Potter series? If you have, I would love to know what you thought about it!

{2.} I know this is rather insignificant, but I have a number of books and series I would like to read, despite the fact that I'm in the middle of reading the old Elsie Dinsmore series, by Martha Finely (even though I finished the modern series a while back, I'm reading the old series now. They are some of the best books I've ever read!). First, I'd like to read Anne of Green Gables, and possibly read the entire series, even though it is miles long. Then I'd like to read Little Women, or at least finish it from where I left off ages ago. And after that, I'd like to finish up the revised Millie Keith and Violet Travilla series, from A Life of Faith.

I'm not exactly sure if I can read (or get my hands on) every last one of those books, but it's possible, right? All it may do is take a while... :)

{3.} Perhaps if my desk looked like this...

...or this...

...then I would not find it half so hard to do my schoolwork. :)

I hope you all have a very nice evening!

~Love,

Hannah
