the surprise is revealed.

Hello, readers!
The surprise is revealed now.
The Crazy Doll Lady interviewed me! Yup, that she did. ;-) And, let's see...oh, that's right! She is also hosting a giveaway at her blog. Or, at both 0f our blogs. Let me explain.
She is giving away a pair of doll crocs and a doll Bible from her blog. :-) For all of you doll lovers, you must be pretty excited. I hope! I sure would be! ;-) All you have to do to enter for this giveaway is just comment on our blogs. EDIT: Though, make sure you have a parent's permission, as you will have to give your address to TracyAnn! You can comment on my main blog or her main blog (probably the first one on the list of her profile, which is linked - is that okay, TracyAnn?). Anyway, we hope you'll enter. If you comment once on each of our blogs, you get two entries. If you comment eight times on my blog and fifteen times on hers, you get twenty-three entries!
(Okay, that was a no-brainer about the mathematics. Sorry. :P)
By the third of next month, February, obviously;), your comments will no longer be counted. On the sixth, I'll put ALL names/entries into a bowl and then will pick out one. The name that I pick out will be the winner!
Keep in mind that if you post a comment that I delete, that will of course not count. Also, please don't comment with a bunch of mistakes in your comment on purpose and then correct yourself in another comment just for another entry. If you truly make a mistake, you may correct yourself if you like or you can just leave it, but please don't post anything spam-like just for extra entries. I don't mean to be bossy or strict here if I am, but just sayin'. ;-)
Also, I'd like everybody to know that when I draw the winner, I will not play favorites and sort through the names, pick out my favorite person, (such as one of my best online friends - for example, Caroline) and then put that person's name at the top and pick it out on purpose. I can't stand it when people do that, so I will not play favorites or choose anyone on purpose.
So, go ahead and enter away by just commenting. Nothing else. If you comment on my blog and TracyAnn's blog, you get some entries. She's already got a commenter on her blog, so that's Number 1 comment! :D
Happy last-day-of January, sweet, dear-to-me readers! And sorry if that was corny. I'm corny! I enjoy being corny! XD
In Christ,
Hannah

miscellanity galore, and a surprise...

Hello, readers!
I have some updates for y'all. ;-) I haven't been getting many comments lately, and I really miss them, but that's okay if you all are busy. :-)
Right now I'm sitting on my bed, with my cat all curled up in a mess of unmade comforters, and with the fan on, drinking one of my mom's fruit smoothies. I think she could start selling them at a restaurant, actually, if we had a bigger freezer to hold all those heavy bags of frozen fruit. It tastes like mostly sugar, but she doesn't add ANY sugar. It's all natural sugar. ;-)
Like my new header? I made it on Picnik. I love Picnik. Okay, I think I'd like something else more if I only knew how to use it. And if I weren't broke. But I still love that editing program. :-)
About my dolls...I just freckled my Julie doll! She looks so cute with freckles:) I just used a blunt brown crayon. And I re-freckled Abby. Which took me, oh, let's see...'bout 5 or 6 tries? Yeah, it took a while. But it was worth it. [Now all Abby needs is a new wig, to replace her own thin, frizzy hair, sadly, and she'll be complete! :D]
Ooooh, and I have a surprise for you all. A big surprise. A really big surprise. A super big surprise. A humungous surprise!! :D
Okay, sorry about that. I just couldn't resist. No, but really, I do have a surprise, and while it's not 'humungous,' I think it's large enough to keep you girls in suspense until in a few days when I post about it. And then I have another post planned, and another. :-P Do I have my brain filled, or what? And then tomorrow, those ideas will just disappear from my head like deer into the mist. [Haha, that's what I like to say!]
Oh, and I think y'all might be amused by this if I tell you. I'm really wanting the Fujifilm Finepix S1800 right now. Really wanting it. In fact, I'm thinking about it so much these days that I have dreamed about it for two nights in a row. I'm serious. I dreamed about it last night and the night before last night. So, yeah. I wouldn't exactly mind a DSLR in the place of our point-and-shoot, but I'd like that camera a LOT. ;-) But, don't take it that I'm coveting this camera, or the dolls Kit and Molly. I just simply think about them, not covet.
Okay, so right now my brother is asking me [honestly, bugging me] to get the laptop. He has his iPod, but... oh well. See you later, readers! :-)

Twice a Week Thankfulness - Week 3 (or Once a Week Thankfulness?) and some more updates...

Hello, girls!
Right now, I'm going to do TWT (Twice a Week Thankfulness) for you all since I completely forgot it was Friday yesterday. Am I wacky or what?
Is there something wrong with my brain? *pounds skull*
There, that's better! Aaah, onto the subject...
1. Number one for a thing I'm thankful for is my comfortable pajamas. I know that sounds a bit weird and silly, but they're still warm, comfy, pretty, (in my eyes!) and all of that. :-P
2. I am grateful for...for the second thing, at least...my brother. (I don't know if I've written about this before, but I don't REALLY remember...anyways.) He is very, VERY annoying sometimes, and he is definitely not perfect, but who is perfect? I'd prefer it if he liked to play dolls with me, but if I didn't have him, my dolls wouldn't have any evil Bionicles to shoot at in a battle. ;-)
(In fact, right now, my fourteen-year-old brother, the one I was speaking of, and the only one I have, the only SIB I have...is playing the Wii! Haha, I don't know many teenagers who play Super Mario Bros!)
3. The internet is a third thing I'm grateful for. I don't think I've written about this before, either, but if I have, well, it's not the end of the world. :-P I TRULY don't know what I would do without the internet! My blog, my Picasa, my other blogs, (they're on the sidebar) my email, American Girl, A Life of Faith, bookseller sites...and this goes ON and ON....
4. Um, how do I put this is words...oh yeah! Fun field trips. I don't know what I'd do without the field trips my brother and I take occasionally. We just went on a field trip a few days ago, and that was super fun! I can't wait for our next. ;-)
5. Last thing I'm grateful for...it is...chocolate cookies. It sounds a bit frivolous, but I love them. Especially...Chocolate chunk cookies with a bit of Reeses chunks in them :)
If you still want to participate in this event, TWT, even if I stop doing it, just grab that purple button that I put on my sidebar and post every Tuesday and/or Friday what you're grateful for! Five things only, please. And I'd like some credit too, not to be greedy or demanding or selfish, so please just link my blog from yours, if you could. ;-)
I also have to drop you all a quick reminder. Lately, posting TWT on an actual post is starting to get difficult. I still write in my gratidude journal almost every day, but as I said, it's getting hard for me to post every Tuesday and Friday. [Partly because I, Wacky Hannah, am losing my mind and not keeping track of the date.] OK, so I'm not 'losing my mind'...but still, you get the point. So I MAY start calling this...um...Once a Week Gratidude? I'll have to think it over.
So I think I might just have to start doing TWT on my blog every Tuesday. Posting every Tuesday and Friday is getting hectic for me, I'm sorry to say. I don't blame you if you're a little upset with me for stopping it at least on Fridays, but I hope that you understand. I'll still write down five things I'm grateful for on each Tuesday, probably for another month or so, and then I might have to quit. I enjoy doing this, and I still will do it, but it's just like with a job. You love the job, but you have to work part time, I guess. You get what I'm trying to say. ;-)
So, with that being said! I just made a new Picasa Album on my Picasa. Can you please check it out? Here's the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/hanniedolluver/FromMyCatSViewpoint/
Hope you like it! :-)
I have to go now, so I'll see you all later! ;-)
Love,
-Hannah-

updates and a photo . . .

[Photo: it's a photo I took around the beginning of January of my dolls dancing around the fireplace on a rainy, cold day.] :-)
Hello, girls!
I have some updates for you all. First, I'm sorry that I haven't posted since Tuesday. And that I didn't post Twice a Week Thankfulness. I know you all are like, "Hey, when is this girl going to post? And isn't she grateful for anything?" Okay, so maybe you're not thinking that, exactly...but I'm sorry about TWT.
[And hey, I've been writing in my gratidude journal almost every day for week after week!]
I completely forgot about Twice a Week Thankfulness. And I am completely shocked that I have 29 followers. And I am completely stunned that, since Wednesday night, thirty people (not including myself!) have visited my blog.
I'm sorry if it (it = the three "completely" above) sounds boring or brag-ish. Maybe it does a little...maybe a lot...maybe so much that you're a little annoyed with me. Don't worry, though; I completely understand. Sometimes I look at someone's post and I'm like, "this is sooo boring!" and then I look at it another time and it's really interesting. A few days back I had this great idea for a post, but then it disappeared as soon as I got my hands on the laptop. That idea actually came when I was dressing my A Life of Faith doll, Kathleen, into her nightie. Weird, huh?
Anyway, I don't blame you if you're really annoyed with me not posting TWT, or not posting in three days, or just simply being annoying. I truly hope I'm not annoying, hurtful, brag-ish, or anything of that sort...which I have been, of course, in my 8-15 years that I've lived. But we're all human, right?
All we can do is all we can do, and that's doing our best (at least, I think!).
Anyway, it's kinda hard to do a post and listen to Set the World on Fire by Britt Nicole, my favorite singer, at the same time. It's not that I don't like her music, though. In fact, I LOVE it! I love nearly all of her songs! :-)
So, I guess that wraps it up! Bye, girls! :D

A Makeover 'Round Here ...

{The photo has nothing to do with the post. It was just when I took my new doll Elizabeth out on an evening photoshoot 'bout two weeks ago and happened to snap an interesting (in my eyes) photo of the driveway.} ;-)

Hello, girls!

Well, you wouldn't believe it ..... but I'm finally getting a new blog design {a real blog design, I'm talking}! It's being done by Hannah over at Beauty Blog Designs. I'm *so* excited for it to come! Ah, but I can't tell you what it looks like. ;-)

Right now Hannah is working on the design, and I can't wait to see how it turns out! It's going to be a header, a background page, and ...... a button!! :D I'm so excited! Can you tell? LOL. {Hey, am I a poet?} ;-)

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I know this post may be a bit short and boring, but stay tuned to a new design! Thanks for all the comments and feedback, too, girls .... 27 followers?! Keep it up, though, girls; I love your feedback! :-)

See ya later! Have a gorgeous day, girls! ;-)

Making Doll Furniture

Hello, girls! I simply could not resist posting this. My mom found a really neat website run by a woman named Ana White. She creates furniture galore for herself, for her daughter, and even for her daughter's dolls! All of the furniture is handmade by herself, and she makes all of this furniture - human or doll furniture - so that it looks like a piece of Pottery Barn furniture, or another brand of furniture. I find her instructions very clever, and so does my mom!

These projects, doll or human, only take a bit of physical strength and the right supplies. Most of her furniture is made in replicas of Pottery Barn's furniture, which is, quite frankly, very expensive, but she makes her furniture very inexpensively. Her doll accesories include a bunk bed, a little poolside chair that can match a human-sized one, a beautiful farmhouse bed made just like a larger Pottery Barn bed, doll-zized bed accessories, and a lot more. :-) Her URL is ana-white.com. I hope you stop by! If you can work with wood well, or you have someone who can, I suggest you try making a doll furniture piece, or even some furniture for yourself, if you need it! The handmade furniture is easy, Ana says, very inexpensive to make, and very beautiful.

I hope you stop by her site! Just had to post about her awesome idea:)

Twice a Week Thankfulness - Week Two

Since it's Tuesday, I thought that I'd might as well do TWT again. ;-) First of all, I'd like to thank my 27 followers! You girls are amazing. :-)
My list starts:
1. Such a sunny, beautiful day. I look out of the dining room bay window and see sunlight spilling out everywhere - into the hills in the distance, all over the lawn and covering the pasture. Okay, so it's about fifty-two degrees, but the day looks a lot warmer. ;-)
2. A perfect camera shot of a beautiful horse that lives next to the nature trails nearby! I can't tell you how many times I've been down at the nature trails, petting one of the million horses, and then seeing a beautiful shot of a horse. The horse is beautiful, the sky is beautiful, everything is beautiful. And what's tragic - I don't have my camera with me most of the time. I'll bring it next time, I assure you! ... if the batteries still aren't dead.
3. The river nearby. Life wouldn't be complete - to me - without the river for swimming, fishing, hiking on the cliffs, and much more, like nature! It's one of the most peaceful places on earth to me;)
4. A clean floor. It sounds wacky, but we just cleaned our enormous tile floor yesterday. It's a TON of work to clean, but now it's very clean, and I'm so glad it's cleaner now! I swept, and my brother mopped. Sweeping + mopping = beautiful floor.
5. Last, it's ... being homeschooled. I am not trying to brag if you go to school and want to be homeschooled, and please no mean comments about this. I don't want to sound like I am bragging, and I'm very sorry if I am bragging. Still, though, homeschooling can be tough, too. I've got math, science, language arts, history ..... you name it. So I am not bragging and I don't mean to if I am. Homeschooling is still tough!
That's the end of the list, then, I guess. ;-) You can still participate if you have a blog, Twitter, LiveJournal, or anything else that you can post frequently to, such as a Picasa. :-) Just grab that button up there, load it to your post, and not to be rude or demanding, but please, can you link my blog from yours? Thanks:)
-------------
That's about it for y'all now .... please comment! :-) Have a great day! ;-)

Doll Find at Target!

Today my mom just came home from shopping. She came home with a ton of groceries, ect ... but my favorite thing she came home with was a doll kitchen set from Target! It's really a kitchen play set for toddlers (the box says ages 3+) but it's also perfect for dolls. The kitchen set was normally very expensive, at nearly sixteen dollars, but my mom luckily found it on toy clearance for a very good price!
I took some photos of the kitchen set today, too. It's almost all metal, and it's a complete kitchen set, with many pots and pans, a strainer, whisks, soup ladles, and much more! I've been needed a kitchen set for my dolls' home, and I have a large box for the counter, so now my dolls' kitchen will be complete soon! I am so happy:)

Here's my new doll Elizabeth that I got for Christmas with the kitchen set! Hehe, she needed to change of of her pj's ...
I am so happy my mom found this at the store! I haven't opened it yet, but it looks like an awesome kitchen set! My dolls, as well, are very happy that they finally have things to cook with. I also got Addy's Ice Cream set recently, so I've got silverware, bowls, and pie and ice cream - LOL! For my dolls, of course:)
Last thing - I'm sorry that I haven't been posting much about my dolls lately. I know that some of you may think that I don't like my dolls anymore and that I've grown out of them, but I still love them and play with them every day, so look out for more posts about them! :-)
Have you found any things for your dolls at Target or another store? I'd love to hear! :-) Have a lovely rest-of-the-evening, girls! ;-)

Miscellanity and Updates.

Hello, readers!
I don't know what it is about these days ... I've really been wanting to post. About something exciting. If you have a blog, (and if you've owned it for a while,) you probably know what that feels like. I know I just posted yesterday, but it seems like I posted a million years ago, to me, anyway.
Strange.
Otherwise, I'm sitting at the kitchen table right now. I smell some really good bacon cooking on the stove. It's a torturing smell, but right now the dog, (Sunny,) must be even more tortured because he's a dog, he's standing right next to the stove, his smell is much better than mine, and he knows that he's not going to get any bacon at all.
Except for a beggin' strip. He loves those dog treats.
I've also been ... sleeping in, (did I mention we get Monday off for Martin Luther King Day? That is a dream!) playing with my dolls, (Julie actually badly sprained her leg, LOL) reading, (especially The Silent Stranger: An American Girl Kaya Mystery, for the millionth time,) and all that.
I also thought I'd show you the photo below. I absolutely love the backround, perspective, ect. If you can't tell what it is, it's our front porch railing.
I really don't know what to say except that I just love the creativeness of the photo. I'm not boasting, I just thought it was very neat. ;-)
I guess this post is boring you to death. I'll try spicing it up a little more. My dad, brother and I are going to Bass Pro Shops in a few hours. I don't know if I'm going ... my Mom's going to Target, and there's lots of things I want to look for there:) It's most likely my favorite store, besides Family Christian and American Girl, ect. I absolutely love American Girl, but next comes Family Christian. Both are awesome stores!
So, anyway ... was that spicy or bland? ;-) In between, I'd guess you're thinking. Sorry if it was bland.
Well, I guess that's it for now ... I hope you comment/rate! Have a lovely day, sweet readers! :-)

Twice a Week Thankfulness - Week One (second part)

Hello, girls! :-) It's Friday, and you know what that means - Twice a Week Thankfulness (TWT)! I'll start my list:
1. Warm clothes. There are lots of kids like me who don't have clean or warm clothes, and I'm very grateful that I have clean, warm clothes to wear.
2. Proverbs - my favorite book of the Bible! I read the Bible as often as I can each day, though honestly, I should read it more. Proverbs and the Psalms give me so much strength and comfort. I also like 1st and 2d Corinthians. In my eyes, the Bible is our guidebook for life. All we have to do is read it. :-)
3. Birdsongs. The birdsongs around her are absolutely beautiful. In the spring, the birdsongs were smothered by the sound of katydids chirping (katydids = hideous, weird bugs around here, a bid like grasshoppers, only much larger) but now in the early spring there's no katydids yet. Thank goodness!
Anyway, the birdsongs around here are simply gorgeous. They're like nature's music. They're most likely my favorite sound in nature. Anyway.
4. I didn't quite know how to put this one, but I'll add it anyway: each morning, waking up to looking outside my window, sometimes seeing sunshine (not much these days, though), many times seeing tons of deer outside my window, scavenging for grass, and occasionally my weird cat crossing the road. I'll have to show you some photos of my room and the backyard sometime, because they're strangely but beautifully arranged.
5. The last thing I'm grateful for this Friday is the forts my brother and I have in the woods. OK, so my brother and I never exactly play there ... we're always just running around in the woods. We can never get lost, but we never know where we are, either. Then there's the pasture where it's the most fun. Not saying that the woods aren't fun - they are extremely fun when you're in the go-outside-and-walk-around/explore mood - but we've got a tire swing and climbing trees and all of that down there, so it's the most fun in my eyes.
Either way, if we didn't have the woods or the pasture or the land, I'd still love nature. Can you tell? ;-)
If you still want to participate in TWT, go ahead! Just grab that purple button below and put it on your blog sidebar and link it. Whenever you post, can you please put "to participate in this, please go to Hannah's blog?" or something like that, and link "Hannah's blog?" Not trying to be demanding. ;-)

Have a good day, sweet readers! :-)

Twice a Week Thankfulness - Week One

Hello, girls! :-)

You may be a little puzzled at the title of this post. I'll explain ... right now, I'm doing a program called Twice a Week Thankfulness (TWT). Each Tuesday and Friday every week, I blog about 5 things that I'm grateful for. My family does keep graditude journals and we write in them as often as we can, (about once a day, usually in the morning) but I'll just take those days {Tuesday and Friday} off from graditude journals. ;-)
I'll write down 5 things in just a second. But here's the news: you can participate in TWT, too!
Just snatch that button I made up at the top of the post there and put it on your sidebar. Above, put something like, "I participated in TWT!" or something like that. :-) If you can, just try spreading the word about this, would you? Thanks. ;-)
The next and last thing is to make sure you follow the rules below. Read them carefully! Thank you, all! :-)

Rules:

1. You may only post twice a week, each Tuesday and Friday, and you must post five things you're grateful for.
2. You cannot rewrite things you're grateful for. {Example: On Tuesday, you write that you're grateful for your pets, and then you write it on Friday or next Tuesday, or any time again.} We all have many things to be grateful for, even if they seem small or insignifigant. God cares about them as long as you do, and even if no one else does.
3. Please leave me a comment if you participate in TWT. Every time you post, I'd like some credit for the idea, so please say that "Hannah," {preferably with a link, if you wouldn't mind,;-)}, "created this. Thank you! :-D
4. Have a great time! I absolutely am going to love TWT. How 'bout you? :-) Be sure to grab that button! Just right-click on the photo and select 'Save Picture As ... ,' and then load it up to your blog post next time ;-)
Also, would ya please take a look at the photo below? I'm sorry that I haven't been posting much about my doll collection lately! :-/ Just because I changed the theme of this blog does not mean I don't enjoy playing with my dolls anymore! I just played with them a bunch last night and today. So no, I haven't grown out of 'em and I never will. ;-)

Here's Abby! Isn't she a sweetie? ;-) I got that outfit she's wearing for Christmas {my mom ordered it during Cyber Monday at AmericanGirl.com}. It was absolutely perfect weather for the outfit that day! But now it's freezing again. Dreary. Grey. Rainy. Perfect weather.

{No, I'm just being sarcastic.}

Finally, to end the post, here are five things I'm grateful for:

1. Medicine, and the knowledge we have today for curing diseases and other illnesses

2. Toffee cookies {which I can never resist.}

3. The great A Life of Faith Series I have, sitting right on my bookshelf and at the library so I can read them whenever I want. Particularily the Elsie Dinsmore books, because those taught me a lot about God, the Bible, and acting more like Jesus would act.

4. The sun tea my Mom makes. The best tea that's ever made an existence on earth.

5. This blog and all of you girls who read it :-)

Those are things that I haven't written before in my graditude journal. I've a ton more things to be grateful for, some of them already written down ... but that's in a different place:-)

I've been typing for forever! Adios, ninas! ("Goodbye, girls," in Spanish. LOL.)

Love,

Hannah

09 January, 2011

photography on a freezing day

Lately I've been wanting to post a bunch ... don't know why, I just have been. I was pretty much in the mood to take some more unique shots today, so here they are. :)

It.was.cold. Freezing! The highest temperature today was supposed to be 38 degrees, but now it's 45 degrees. I wore my nice fuzzy socks out on the porch. I think I'll wear them all day, if it stays cold. I'm actually hoping it'll stay cold because these socks are the most comfortable on earth. I don't ever want to take them off.

The last photo is quite random ... it's the water spicket on the end of our front porch. It's a unique photo, but uniqueness is what I was aiming for today. Can you tell?

Things around here have just been pretty normal. Nothing that new, except for me writing a letter to my cousin, eating Mom's homemade waffles, staying online, photography, things like that ... pretty boring, but it's nice to have some time to chill out every once in a while, don't you think?

07 January, 2011

Music and Miscellaneous

Lately, it's just been pretty normal around here. Nothing that interesting, I must admit.

Well, like the blog post is titled ... I have quite a bit of miscellanity for you girls.

-Cleaning my room. Lately I've been wanting to redesign my room a bit. Well, not a bit. Quite the opposite. Lately I've been wanting to re-paint my room light pink. Move the bed for the hundreth time. Move the bookcase, clean up a lot. It'll be quite a light color of pink, but still pink. My favorite color. Can you tell? ;-)

-Britt Nicole music. Lately I can't resist. I simply couldn't - really, couldn't - get "Sunshine Girl" out of my head last night. And then it was "Good Day" preventing me from falling asleep. When I woke up, I had to listen to "The Lost Get Found." {Or, um, when I got on the computer, of course, which was about ten minutes after I was dressed, out in the living room, ect.} Good Day has a great message. So does Walk On The Water, Lost Get Found, ect. Yup, I'm getting hooked more and more on that music.

{In fact, I find myself humming. And singing. A lot.}

{Photo: it's just one of the photos I took on a dreary, gross, rainy day. It turned out better than that, though, don't you think?}
-My photography. Okay, so I know I need a better camera for good quality photos. {I do love the one above, though.} That's why I'm asking for the Fujifilm Finepix S1800 12MP Digital Camera with 18x Optical Zoom for Christmas {okay, I know that Christmas is a long ways off, but anyway}. Love the camera. In case I want a doll from American Girl that is retiring and if I've wanted her, I'll most likely get this.
-The book I'm writing. You probably already knew it, but I'm writing a book about a girl living in Texas in the early 1800's. Her name is probably Sarah or Beth. I think I'll spend all of my spring break and summer writing it. {Not all of it, but you know what I mean.} It'll be tough, but I'm up to it. And it sounds crazy, but I hope to publish it when I'm done. So lately I've read most of the books I got on Texas History from the library. I was afraid this would happen, but it did - I need a lot more books than just five or six to write a book, obviously!
These are all of the miscellaneous things I have now to share with you. {Or so, all the things I can think of.} So I guess this is all for now ... please comment/rate! Have a great day, girls! :-)

Happenings Around Here

Hello, readers!
Sorry I haven't been posting as much as I should. Just came back from a walk around the neighborhood and on the nature trails. For January, it's fairly warm - almost 70 degrees! I can't wait for summer.
Like my new blog design? No doll theme anymore . . . but, I do live in the Texas Hill Country, of course, so I thought I might as well give this blog a fresher theme. I'll start posting about my life a lot more - the blogs about God and about your life are actually starting to become my favorite blogs. ;)
Anyway, it's finally starting to warm up a little here. It's cold in the morning, but all of a sudden the day warms up for an hour or two. That's the best time to go outside, obviously. :) And then it gets cooler again; the sun goes away, and it's just back to where you started. The high on Sunday is supposed to be 39 degrees!! And the low is 24 degrees. That's super cold weather down here in Texas. Okay, so most of you are laughing at me because it's probably snowing where you live, but just try living in Texas!
Oh, and another update: My brother's electric scooter battery came yesterday, and he charged it up for a while. This morning we all (my brother, me, and my mom) tried out riding the scooter, and we had an absolute blast! We went out to the driveway and rode it downhill. Our area that we live in is super hilly (well, it's the Texas Hill Country, so what do you except?) and so we can't ride the scooter up the hill because it kills the battery - we have to walk it up the hill and then ride it downhill. So . . .
I guess that's it for y'all (for now). Please comment/rate! Have a great evening, everyone! :)

Happy New Year!

Today is the first of January. (Okay, I know that is very obvious, but it is . . . shocking to me!)
And I simply cannot believe that it is the first. Where has all this time gone?Where has 2010 gone?! Whenever I think of 2011/the past year, I think of (2011 starts first):

- A new year, of course. ;)
- My birthday in May and being ___ years old! :D
- A new doll (every year I expect a new doll, if I get her for my birthday, by myself, or Christmas, AG or not, she's still a doll! LOL! ) ;)
- The journeys God will put me through, good and bad, and the improvement I hope to make on acting like Him
- Maybe more followers (of course! LOL I hope to get at least ONE more this year!)
- More comments, maybe? That'd be so nice:) I appreciate comments even more than following, actually! Although, I hope you want to follow me . . . ;) LOL
- Last one . . . just to enjoy 2011 and live the best I can this year and on :)

When I think of the past year, I think of:

- How much God graciously blessed me - I do not deserve His blessings at all, however
- The improvement I've made at writing! Not at all to brag, but I've learned to use the theasaurus more (I used it before, but not much . . . ) The thesaurus, dictionary, spell check have helped me SO much . . . I've always used spell check and dictionary when I write, but still, I am using it a ton more.
- The dolls I got
- Making my blog! In January, February, March, April, I had my blog called dreamingofdolls, but it didn't do very well . . . so I made this one, and look where it went! (Not bragging . . . I am not a bragger, and I am kind of weird about bragging to other people, so sorry if "I'm not trying to brag" is getting annoying to hear!)
- Um . . . more things will hit me when I'm in bed tonight about to start dreaming at 12:00 midnight (not my bedtime; I go to bed at about 8:30 - 9:00). That's all for now . . . unless I'm on at 12:00 midnight tonight, which I will not be! ;)

So I guess that's about it for you girls. Unless you're on at 12:00 tonight, you won't anything new, except for on my Cbox. (Okay, I'll cut the cheesiness!) Happy January First! :D No, just kidding - Happy New Year!

Love,

Hannah
