words.

I love words, and basically everybody I know with Pinterest account has a word board, so that's one of the reasons why I love Pinterest so much. ;)

the picture above doesn't fit this post, but I liked it anyway ;)

do any of you have a Pinterest account? What do you think about Pinterest?

My dream house.

beware - this is a very long post.
inspired by this post

Prepare to be bombarded with dozens of (dreamy) pictures.
Sorry about how small most of them are.

the house / front and/or back yard / what you see when you first walk in.

The front of the house. Absolutely perfect.

You'd see something like this when you walked through the front door.

And this is the staircase.

This would be in the backyard. :)

So would this.

And this. I would sleep up in this tree house in the summertime.

the library / office or desk.

Welcome to the library!

It has two libraries, you see. The first photo of the library was library number one.

My desk would look something like this..

..and this, combined.

Also, I'd have some fabric hoop bulletin boards on the wall, so that they sort of looked like art. Maybe I'd pin a few old-fashioned photographs to each one? A possibility. ;)

I already have a super-cute handmade pencil container with neat vintage fabric on it..Now all I need to do it attach it to the wall! :)

your room / guest rooms.

This is my room.
So incredibly me.
Uh, actually, this room is way too girly and old-fashioned for my taste. It'd be turned into a guest bedroom. See what my bedroom would look like below.

This would also be in my room (in white instead of green, of course ;)).

Inside my closet would be this. I just wonder how I'd get the couch in there.

I would have two closets. The one above, then this one.

This is where you'd sleep, Mom . I don't think you'd mind. Unless I got a glass of water at midnight.
(The kitchen = dream come true for Mom..and me.)
Oh, and I know this isn't really a guest bedroom, or even a room for that matter. But I had to show it to you.

Attic/guest bedroom.
This would be my bedroom. ;)

Everything about this guest bedroom is perfect except for the comforter on the big bed. It doesn't even match the rest of the room! I think a bedspread matching the wallpaper would suffice though. ;)

Yet another guest bedroom. It could also be my room sometimes.

And this is the last guest bedroom. Or part of it, at least.

kitchen // miscellaneous.

You know that kitchen I showed you above? Well, it'd have a chalkboard paint backsplash. That's basically the only thing I'd change about it.

Genious! This would definitely be somewhere in the house.

Love.

I actually might make this sometime, only it would be the letter "H" instead, of course. :)

Real

When I'm having trouble coming up with something to post about, I sometimes attempt to create those beautiful posts I've seen on some other (popular) blogs, but I just feel even more frustrated when I see no comments on those posts.

P1010912-2

The truth is, I'm never going to be able to post stuff like that and still get comments, because it wouldn't be me to write like that...and my readers would be able to tell, I'm sure. And no matter how hard I try, my pictures aren't going to look like others', because I have my own photography style.

P1010200

You know, I don't have a ton of clothes and I'm not what you'd call stylish. I don't have a huge DSLR with a variety of lenses. I don't have any people to take pictures of and actually be able to post those pictures. I can't even post pictures of myself. I don't travel a lot, or have exciting adventures, or write as well as others. I don't have a perfect blog design.

[the lake :)]

And that's okay, because Jesus died for me to enjoy my life, even though it's not perfect. Even though I don't have what everyone else has. I don't need a perfect life. I just need to be myself and enjoy life even though it's not perfect.

Even though I'm not perfect, I'm trying my best to be real.

Banana paper.

P1010823

Yesterday I had my second violin lesson, and on the way home we stopped at Target so I could hunt for notebooks. I bought a pack of three banana-paper journals with my own money, which shows you how much I wanted them. ;)

P1010817

Here's my journal used for writing down wise words, quotes, writing ideas, etc.

P1010818

The paper inside is made from recycled material and banana fibers; hence the title. ; )

P1010815

Here's my prayer journal, where I write down prayers. It was inspired by this post, and also from an older journal of mine which had a "prayer" category. I love the idea of writing prayers out. The paper inside is the same as the paper in my first journal.

P1010819

And this is my art journal, for drawing//painting//doodling. The paper is unlined, of course.

I love them all. =)

PS. This was where I did my photographing.

P1010824

And I think the weather thinks it's spring here. Cause it's been rainy and muddy and flowers are blooming.

P1010825

PPS. I can't believe I just devoted a whole post to notebooks.

the chase

 Once upon a time,
there was a cat
who was running from me.
If you're wondering why she was running,
it was partly 'cause she was hyper,
and then because she hates being chased with Phoebe (my camera).
She didn't know how to escape,
but found a way in a few seconds.

The end.

ps. I know, this was boring.
pps. Whatcha think about the the new design? It took a lot o' work. But it was worth it.
ppps. If anyone knows how to make the post date//sidebar titles smaller, please do let me know, because I've corrected every bit of my HTML and obviously the text does not want to shrink.
